Family Fun Day

Mama's sweet boy!  We enjoyed a day at the Dallas Arboretum with our friends.  Parker loved running around with the pumpkins and playing outside.

He loves his baby sister!  He talks to her in a baby voice and calls her whatever mama calls her that day... ranging from "Pretty Princess" to "High Maintenance Honey" depending on her mood.
I look at these pictures and think how pleased I am that Parker seems happy and adjusted. I am constantly worrying lately about whether he feels loved enough.  I can't give him 100% attention anymore with breast-feeding and Avery's needs throughout the day but overall, I think he still knows he's Mama's boy!

Of course Dada will argue that he is Dada's boy, especially now.  It feels like we divide and conquer at times... he gets Parker and I get Avery.  I am a bit jealous that I can't get Parker alone more.

Taking in his surroundings.
Handsome Boy!!

I will leave you with three of the funniest things Parker has said this week...

1.  After his prayers instead of saying "Amen", he says "All Da Men".  Guess he thinks God only listens to All Da Men :)

2.  After sneezing, if I don't say "Bless you" right away, he says " Bless You Me, Mama!"

3.  While cooking dinner this week, Parker was sitting in his highchair eating when I hear "Mama, I'm a F*%! Head."  I immediately turn around ready to scold him for saying such an awful word.... when I see him smiling with a fork on top of his head.  "I'm a fork head, Mama!"  I cracked up and gave him the biggest kiss.

It is so hard to divide your time to more than one child! I'm so glad you are having so much fun with Parker. Avery is a doll!

Heather,
Awesome pics! I think Avery looks like her daddy, what do you think?

Evan and I went to OCH last week, we missed seeing you. We visited for about an hour in half. Evan had an appt. with Dr. Raji.

Loved the fork head story! Priceless.

Just wanted to drop a message to let you know I'm thinking about you.

Hey Heather!

Thank you so much for sending me a pic of Avery via Leslie. She is fast becoming a favorite person in my book and got instant "street cred" when I found out you guys were friends!
Avery is angelic and Parker is just adorable. Is it possible he has actually gotten cuter? ;-)
I really miss you guys and feel so blessed to get to see into your life through this blog.
Much love to your family!!!
